Sarah Robinson B.Sc., D.Ch.

 

Sarah graduated from The Michener Institute Chiropody program in 2006. She also earned an Honours Biology degree with a Minor in Psychology from McMaster University in 2003.  

Sarah completed her third year clinical training at The Ottawa Hospital high risk limb salvage clinic, Total Foot Care Rehabilitation Centre. The care centred around both preventative care and high risk foot care including diabetic wound care and offloading.  

 

Sarah has a special interest in Sports Medicine and Biomechanics/Custom Orthotics. Since graduating, she has pursued continuing education to further develop her skills in orthotic prescription and the treatment of lower limb repetitive strain injuries. She has attended many seminars and work shops with many prominent podiatrists including Kevin Kirby, Douglas Richie, and Craig Payne.  

Sarah has completed all levels of "Foot Mobilization Therapy" training, and was certified in Active Release Therapy in 2014.These manual therapies allow her to speed her patients recovery from foot pain and injury.  

Sarah is able to prescribe oral and topical medications, perform injections of local anesthetic, cortisone, and perform permanent nail removal procedures.  

She was on the Ontario Society of Chiropodists board for many years and actively lobbied the Ontario government to promote the Chiropody profession.

When Sarah is not working, she enjoys cross country skiing, rock climbing, kayaking and hiking. She took over the clinic full time when Judi Thorel retired in February 2019.

Nadine Worsfold

Nadine lives with her husband and son in Wasaga Beach. She brings both 7 years of experience working as a medical office administrator and podiatric practitioners' assistant and over 25 years of experience in customer service. She makes great efforts to ensure the clinic runs soothly to enable delivery of the best quality of care. 

Nadine enjoys getting to know our clients and hearing their stories. When Nadine isn't working, she finds joy in spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs. She also enjoys discovering new places, travelling, and meeting new people.
